IT'S A GIRL!!!

We are so proud to announce that we are having a baby girl. The doctor is 95% sure but she scheduled another sonogram in 4 weeks just to confirm. The look on Aubrey's face was priceless. I got it all on tape and will be posting a link to the youtube video that shows the moment we found out. I have to say, I knew it all along. My intuition (and the length of Aubrey's leg hair) told me that we were having a girl. We can't wait to meet her and to introduce her to her new family. This is one of those moments in life that we will never forget. While we were looking at the baby on the computer screen, I caught Aubrey saying "I love you so much and I don't even know you yet." That pretty much sums it all up.

3 Weeks and We Will Find Out Who Are LIl Friend Is

Hi All!! Sorry it has taken so long for us to post. Chris and I have been staying busy! He is doing summer school and that takes up much of his time. I have been working and hanging out in la la land! We had a doctor's appointment today (July 12th) and found that lil bean is still healthy! The doc said that we will be able to find out what we are having August 2nd! We are soooo EXCITED! So everyone begin placing those bets! If it matters at all, the Doc said that we were having a girl... She then told us that she's almost always wrong. Louie has been an excellent workout buddy and we are really enjoying our daily walks. The bump made it's grand appearance in week 14 and it's just about time to buy new clothes. Since we posted last, lil bean has been to it's first concert, heard it's first firework show and forced mom to buy Zebra Cakes??? I guess Lil Bean and Lil Debbie are friends. Chris will be posting pics and videos from our last appointment later this week so check back soon. Thanks for all the love and support, we are almost half way there.

FATHER'S DAY

Hello to all my friends and family! I hope that you all had a great weekend and had a Happy Father's Day! Lil Bean and I had a busy and fun-filled weekend! Friday I had my niece Bailey we got pedicures and had some dinner! It is pretty unbelievable how fast they do grow up! She is such a lady now and you can tell she has independence! I can't believe that one day I will have a child that age...haha! Saturday I hit up the market downtown Overland Park. If you guys ever have time and get up early on a Saturday it is a neat place to go. They have all the vegetables and fruits out and they are fresh! They also have bands playing with many shops to go into for coffee,pastries, and my favorite cupcakes!! Sunday we hit up my mom's for the day and it was so nice to be around both sets of my family (my family and Chris's!) I knew that this Father's day would be a bit difficult because I have been missing my daddy, but I was able to be around some incredible father's including a soon to be father(Chris) and I thought I was very lucky! It is so cool to see the reaction on Chris's face to get gifts for father's day if he had it his way the baby would be here right now! (Well so I would I!) I am so thrilled that he is going to be the father to our child he so amazing that this lil one is going to adore him! I hope you guys all have a fantastic week and I will blog again soon! Love ya!

Above is a link to a video I took of Lil Bean's heart beat on 6/14/2010. It was clocked at 165 bpm. The look on Aubrey's face is priceless. There is something special about hearing your baby's heartbeat for the first time, and I was lucky enough to get it on tape. Everything is healthy and looks good. We are blessed!

Boy or Girl.....Oh the joy!

Hey everyone! We love that everybody is responding to the blog! It seems that most people think that we are going to get a girl! I really don't know if I can handle another me. (Poor Chris!) We actually found out yesterday that Chris' cousin and his wife are having a boy! It was so great to see the reaction on there faces of how proud they are and the anticipation of meeting their new son. It really makes Chris and I look forward to the same feeling! It is pretty unbelievable that one sonogram can really change your life. It makes me smile to think that you can love someone so much and not even know them yet! Well I hope that everyone enjoys there weekend the baby and I are off to support Gertie in a celebrity poker tournament! I will let you all know how that turns out! CHEERS!

WEEK 10

Hey Everyone!!
Thanks for checking out our blog. We figured it would be a good way for our friends and family who are near and far to watch the progression of this little human! We are at week 10 and I'm starting to get back into the swing of things. I must say I have been lucky. I have not had morning sickness, however I do have the sluggish tired feeling and most of you know that I am a go go person so that has been rough to adapt to. The doctor says that I should begin to feel normal around week 12. Come on week 12! Another thing that we are getting use to are the crazy hormones! Yikes, watch out! I can be completely normal and fine and the next minute I am crying over seeing a cute dog on television! I have to thank Chris for being so patient with me. To tell you the truth, I don't know how he does it! Please feel free to post all over our blog with your thoughts, your tips, your encouragement. We want your feedback and we welcome your input!
